Trafficg Traffic Exchange Versus Entrecard

Author: Joe Hunley

Anyone involved in promoting Websites or Blogs is aware that your Site is only as sucessful as the Traffic it Draws. You can have a well designed Site, featuring numerous usefull Items, or Opinions, that is just “Sitting There”–Doing nothing. Why?–Traffic, Visitors viewing your Blog or website. So the object is to “Get Some” of this Traffic—How?

There are many ways the Webmaster attempts to draw people to His or Her Site. One of the methods used is Traffic Exchange. This is a system, where you join the “group”, visit Websites or Blogs, and in turn—they visit you–Hopefully. This is a Free method that I have used and Still am using on several Blogs and Websites. I have found this method to be effective in increasing my traffic numbers, However, from a Sales Point of View–I find It Limited. The reason being that the majority, if not all, the viewers coming to your Site Via this method are there for the same reason as you are —increase their traffic.

As any program has it’s good points and bad, I will compare the Two exchange programs that I use. This is not a suggestion as to which is better than the other or which you use (If Any). It is just My findings. TrafficG Traffic Exchange Versus Entrecard.

Entrecard: This is a very nice and Easy exchange to work with. They have several categories to place your blog, allow the use of an Image as advertisement for your Blog, the program is easy to join, and I have found it to be somewhat productive. They have made it easy to view other Sites—which gives you Credits to use in advertising your Site on others, and you can also gain credits by someone placing ads on your Site. They explain all of this at their Site.

I have found their return to be anywhere from 3 to 1 ( meaning for every 3 Sites I visit–1 will return the favor ) to possibly 2 to 1, on a really good day. Therefore, I have experienced a 33% to 50% return on my investment (Time)—which really isn’t that bad, considering you can visit alot of Sites, real quick, the card you click to tell the Site owner you have visited, is usually at the top of the page. However, I place mine a little lower, I’d like the viewer to see a “Little” of my content before He goes!!!

TrafficG: Another very nice addition to my Quest for Traffic. TrafficG claims to have a 1 to 1 ratio, meaning for every visit–you receive a visit. I have found this not only to be true, but I have found the traffic to arrive at a rather fast rate. Example–As a test, I visited 100 Sites, and within 5 hours, I had been visited Via TrafficG by 100 visitors. Now by no means can I say that is a given, I am just stating that they did give a 100% return, and seemed to do it Quickly. TrafficG, however will prove to be more Time consuming, Unlike Entrecard, who can be Click and Go, TrafficG is a 30 second visit. Now this can be looked at in several ways. You will view ( Or just stare at the screen ) for 30 seconds before visiting the next Site, But then–this applies to the visitor to your Site as well. It may even allow them to find something at your Site they may be interested in. TrafficG also offers an Affiliate Program where you can earn credits, they offer a Banner exchange also.

So there you have It. TrafficG and Entrecard compared Head to Head—and my Findings—Use Both—-Both have something to offer, and are great programs.

Search Marketing Making the Invisible Visible

Author: Paul Steven

A website alone won’t make you money or get your services known - no matter how good it is - if people don’t know its there how are they supposed to buy from it or know you exist.

Imagine you are about to launch a new website. You have viewed and critiqued the search engine results pages for your niche and feel that your site has a credible chance of breaching those top positions and soon enough will be driving traffic, leads and sales straight to your door.

Launch date goes by and so do the weeks and months - you scan your web traffic stats, barely a blip. Its a familiar story. Like any off-line business you need to work hard promoting your services or products - you need to make people aware that you exist. On-line SEO Marketing is the ideal solution to expose your website to your targeted audience and propel your on-line reputation.

Search Marketing Visibility

There are many services that a website can use to help boost its visibility on-line. Each on their own can generate traffic to your site, new or old, but together they are a potent force.

The potential for sites to excel on-line is exciting indeed. Traffic can be driven by so many differing factors and a website does not have to be held to being reliant on just the search engines. Although, if its conversion you are after then this is still the staple source for the best on-line revenue avenue.

The following are considerations that I would tell an on-line venture to consider - seriously - if they wanted their site to be visible:

Pay Per Click is a fast way to get your site noticed on-line. It can be expensive but if your geared for conversions then this can produce a speedy return on investment.

SEO is a specialized area where your site undergoes specific attention to make it as search engine friendly as possible for your desired keywords. Highly effective when done correctly and can generate traffic and sales long after an SEO campaign has finished.

Blogging is a great way to add fresh content to your site, allows readers to participate in communication via comments, builds a community readership, can help drive traffic quickly to your site.

Link Building can cover many areas including directory submissions, article releases, press releases, forum participation, blog commenting, social media bookmarking, link baiting.

Social Media Marketing is still in its infancy but no matter if your advertising within its boundaries or submitting posts or voting on submissions it is an effective way of creating a buzz much like a real world underground word-of-mouth scenario.

On-line Networking places such as Twitter or Facebook. Applications where the ping is all powerful as in Skype or Messenger. And still the grand-daddy of them all the on-line forum is a great place to make a noise about your site.

Viral Marketing no matter if its email, video or pod-cast if you make the right noise to the right people this can fly and drive many-a-visitor and link to your site in a very short timescale.

By approaching and embracing Search / SEO / Social Marketing you are giving your site a fighting chance to being as visible as possible and creating a successful online venture.
