I believe it doesn't matter that how much you build but quality of back links matters. Around 20-25 quality back link with do follow attribute is fine for the day.

I depends on how many quality links that you worked everyday. 20-30 back links would be enough.

As per as my experience 80-90 back links are enough to generate good traffic in our site.
