RE: Can the voting age ever be changed again?
I think the voting age right now is appropriate. 16 or 17 may be too early to be a voter.

RE: Can the voting age ever be changed again?
At the age of 16 or 17 they are not even in a college. How can we think they are matured enough to vote

RE: Can the voting age ever be changed again?
Voting at 18 is appropriate for the general population as it is usually associated with the age of adulthood. With that being said though, it seems strange that an emancipated, 17 year old, HS dropout who works full time to support his child shouldn't be able to vote. I mean he is an active member and contributor to the US economy. But then again there are exceptions to everything. Now the drinking age--that should probably be lowered.

I don't think it should be changed. Believe it or not, in Canada they are seriously thinking about changing it to 16 years old. I think that's way too young. What do you think?

The conservatives want to change everything! By the way, they also changed the age of consent... I think that was a positive change though
