Copenhagen and climate change
Everyone is talking about the global negotiations about climate change and carbon trading that will occur in Copenhagen. The subject dominates the media and has done for a while. And it does seem that more and more people (and politicians for that matter) are becoming skeptical about the idea that humans are causing catastrophic climate change.

Which is why I'm curious about what people in this forum might think. So, are you a believer in the man-made global warming theory, or do you think it's all a lot of hot air?

RE: Copenhagen and climate change
climate change is a natural process, accelerated climate change is an unnatural process. but i think it is to late to correct it. all that can be done is to improve the current rate of change

RE: Copenhagen and climate change
I'm on the fence. I think the real problem is deforestation and fluctuations in the suns output.
may I add that many scientists are sceptical.

RE: Copenhagen and climate change
If each one of us start thinking about this then there would be no need of such negotiations. All of us should take steps for afforestation and avoid throwing things here and there, proper disposal of wastes should be done.

I think there is no any individual nation is responsible for this situation. This the responsibility of every nation. According to my mind even every person on this earth is responsible for that and first we have to effort to get rid of this problem.

RE: Copenhagen and climate change
I think the people are fully responsible for the climate change. Once the technology has evolved, more and more threats have appeared for the climate and the environment. We are destroying the climate with our ow hands.

RE: Copenhagen and climate change
I think that the truth is somewhere in the middle. Yes, the humans have their own contribution to global warming , but the climate change is a natural process. And yes, it is a little late to stop this process, but it is not too late to slow it down.
