200,000 people showed up to see Obama in Germany, Why?
I know people over there hate Bush (no explanation needed) but why the interest in US politicians? |

RE: Europeans, do you follow or care about the USA presidential election?
I do. I used to live in the USA so i guess that might be part of the reason. plus, theres so much drama about it on TV and stuff so we get curious.

RE: Europeans, do you follow or care about the USA presidential election?
I don't really care who gets elected but ofc it would be nice to see a black president. Papers write about the election and it's in the news all over the internet so it's hard to not care about it.

(Laughs) "It'll be quite entertaining to see which one they choose. From what I hear, neither are very good choices; and this folks, is what makes a democracy so unethical."

RE: Europeans, do you follow or care about the USA presidential election?
Easy answer, almost all European countries are members of NATO, required to support USA which is their ally. Normally, they wouldn't say no, if the USA were under attack I'm sure all European countries would be on USA's side, but when the USA starts oil wars for the profit of a few super rich gwb's buddies, that is hard to digest. So the Europeans would like to see USA having a peaceful president, who doens't send USA and allied soldier to die for nothing.
