No, I don't think it is a cruel sport and the horses are treated fine in it. And, horse racing is a beautiful sport.

Its not bad or cruel after all the horses are treated fine and they gave nice shelter to the horse to condition them.

In thoroughbred racing there are danger involved for both the horse and the jockey every time they step out on the track. But you have some level of danger in every sport. There are commissions set up that define the rules of racing and wagering. There are also provisions that explicitly spell out a duty to protect the horse.

Horse racing as a sport is not cruel to horses. Thoroughbreds have the physiological ability to race with speed and endurance making them ideal for the sport.

The objection most frequently raised by animal rights groups is the treatment of race horses at the end of their careers. Horses that are not stud-worthy are sometimes sold to slaughterhouses where they meet a horrific death. Adoption programs now exist that allow the horses to live out their lives in a pasture.

Horse racing is an amazing game I do not think it is harming the animal I like this game.
