How to Add Backlinks
FIND A WEBSITE TO DROP THE BACKLINK. This is important because it will determine whether the backlink will be a quality one or not. Good places to look are related forums or blogs, social bookmarking websites (Digg, Reddit, Proppeller), and article directories (eHow, Ezinearticles, Squidoo and Article Base).
2 COMMENT OR CONTRIBUTE to that website. Comments are self-explanatory, but a contribution could be as lengthy as an entire article. This will allow you to actually add the backlink, and if what you have to say is knowledgeable, people will be more inclined to follow the link back to your website. 3 ADD THE BACKLINK by copying and pasting your website's URL in the comment / contribution you made. If the backlink is not automatically hyperlinked, you should do so yourself. Follow the instructions in the "How to Make a Hyperlink" link in this article's Resources section if you need help. 4 REPEAT the process once your first backlink has been successfully added.
