If you cannot take a human written book as the truth, what can you take as the truth?

...and which book do you claim tells "the truth"?
Books which are unsupported by evidence are fiction. In this respect, the bible is no more "true" than Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings |

Each one of us has our own concept of the truth. No two people will agree on everything all the time. No one can be wrong if everyone is right or I guess we all could be wrong. I am comfortable with my beliefs and as long as I don't hurt anyone else who cares what I think or do?
As far as believing a book written by man, it is hard for me to believe all that is written in the Bible, specifically because it is written by man, not God. Yes, he inspired the prophets and filled the disciples with the Spirit, but through the interpretations and the passing of time I believe some of the original work has been distorted. I still trust in God and Jesus and know the golden rule is the guiding tool for Christianity, as well as for most religions. Furthermore, I dislike those who pick apart the Bible, as a way to discredit our Lord. While they are free to do so, it seems pointless. On the other hand, those who believe every single word, should consider how flawed man is, even with the best of intentions. I don't think there is a real test for the truth, since it is subjective. I would not deny you your opinion and would not want someone to try and put down my belief system. |

we must analyze what is real by medical research, developing a way of examining a declare, a way in which the analyze, if it makes a bad outcome of some type reveals that the declare is incorrect, and unveiling the information about the analyze to others so the analyze can be recurring, if the recurring analyze constantly give the same outcomes, its real.
