Inglis given the green light
Melbourne Storm star Greg Inglis has been given the green light to resume playing in the NRL, effective immediately.
Inglis has been under an indefinite playing suspension for the past two weeks after he was charged with assaulting his former girlfriend. The Melbourne Storm board today gave approval for Inglis to return to full playing duties. A statement from the club said the decision was made in consultation with the NRL and the club's key stakeholders. “Since this extremely sensitive situation first came to our attention, our main concern has always been the health, safety and wellbeing of all parties involved," said Melbourne chief executive Brian Waldron. "While public interest in the matter is unavoidable, the strong advice we have received remains that all parties involved require a level of privacy, as they independently deal with what is a difficult and now public situation." The club's decision allows Inglis to take his place for the Storm's clash with the Sydney Roosters at Melbourne's Olympic Park on Saturday night. Melbourne have lost both of their NRL games since the star back was banned from playing. Inglis appeared in a Melbourne court yesterday and while his lawyer called for the charges to be dropped, the case was adjourned until October 14. Naperville Carpet Cleaning |

RE: Inglis given the green light
This is quite an inspiring story. Life in a game is not easy. God will always put test on each and everyone. Thank you for sharing this.
