With the Taliban terrorists ruling the most of NWFP, FATA areas of Pakistan unopposed, is it even safe for an international cricket team to visit and play in Peshawar? What about the rest of Pakistan with the daily jihad by homicide bombers?

Just curious to know whether the terrorists will appreciate a cricket match in their midst, given that they are opposed to any sort of entertainment.

Now you're worried? lol, Aussies told you weeks ago it wasn't safe! I feel for the Pakis, but they should clean their house out before expecting visitors.

i think it is not safe for a team to play in pakistan at this condition. in my opinion, they should also change the icc champions trophy 2009 from there.

I think Peshawar will be forgotten for another 10 years now..the Australians haven't visted Pakistan for the last TEN years even though situation in the past years has been excellent, in fact better than most countries. If they were worried about THAT excellent condition, then leave Peshawar for another 50 years.

Its all depends on different cricket control boards. Some country don't want to play there while some has no issues in playing there.
