Sport-good or bad?
There is an opinion, that professional sport is "a slow killer", I mean, some professional sportsmen don't live long, some have bad injuries and so on.Do you agree with it?

RE: Sport-good or bad?
Yes, that's true, that's why a lot of sportspeople stop their careers at age 30 or so. Those who truly make it are extremely lucky - they don't have to do anything else after they retire. After all, any sport isn't a marketable skill outside of the sport itself. But for those who aren't as lucky, they should have a fallback skill, otherwise they won't get anywhere.

RE: Sport-good or bad?
I think a lot of sport people would be better starting a bit later, and getting some qualifications that they can fall back on if neccessary.
But if you can be successful being a sportsman or woman is a good life. Divorce Solicitors London |

RE: Sport-good or bad?
I think a lot of the heavy contact sports like rugby are really bad for the players in the long run. They do so much damage to their joints - knees in particular - it's frightening.
Also, it's psychologically damaging. They get all this glory in their youth and get treated like gods. Then all of a sudden it disappears when they're not as strong and fast as they used to be. If they can't use their early success to fuel a new career - as a commentator for example - they can end up very bitter and lost. Happens quite often to them, unfortunately. RE: Sport-good or bad?
Professionals in sport really suffer a lot from their fame especially in such sports like boxing, fighting, wrestling. I wouldn't like my son ne a professional sportsman.

RE: Sport-good or bad?
I agree with it. All professional sport is the slow killer as it's immensely for bodies to bear all the strengths of the tranings. Many sportsmen have serious problems with their health.
