Another thing to try and achieve with each blog post is to try and make it insightful and unique. That's not easy to do consistently. Bloggers are under a lot of pressure to just keep writing stuff as often as possible. So they often just rehash what they've read elsewhere.

But writing something that can't be found anywhere else is definitely worthwhile, because there's a greater chance that others will link to it.
