Though I am a fan of tennis, and always keen to see us Brits compete at the highest level. I am not a fan of Murray after the comments he made about the English football team, willing us to lose etc.

I agree, he is monosyllabic and always seems so mardy but nevertheless, I like him. First of all, he's a great tennis player, secondly, he's capable of anything, and lastly, I'll cheer on any Brit that is willing to win something for a change.

He did say on radio, that he had the worlds most boring voice.l think by nature he's a bit depressive and downbeat. His voice shows that up.We have had a Canadian/Brit get to a GS final in 97 with Greg. Now a Scottish/Brit,when is an English/Brit going to make it.Last time l remember is John Lloyd at the Aus open in,l think 1977

Well, he did have to hide under a desk when the Dunblayne massacre was taking place. It's quite likely that tennis has become an outlet for him while he's got a lot of other stuff bottled up inside him.

You don't have to be a great orator to win tennis matches. Indeed few players are - even Federer. He speaks well, but hardly comes out with a lot of witty remarks or erudite thoughts. "It's incredible". "It means the world to me" "Well done to my opponent". That's about it.
