I have a dilemma. Ca you give me an advice about what present can i take for a young couple at their wedding? The habit is to take something to help them in their new home, something useful, but it's not a written rule.

I want to take them something original, but useful. I have to mention that they have a small house, so...what to take them?

I would give money - they know better what they want. maybe they want something very personal and you can't buy it or they can't ask you to buy it.

It depends on many aspects, like: what kind of people they are, what preferred style did they have (they are the classical or modern people), and so on. It's hard to give you a proper advice.

Thanks for the ideas. i decided to take them something they can use often in their small place, a wonder pot because they like cooking.

Well, it's up to you, but I'd rather give them money, I mean at my wedding we got so many useless things, that I may understand that

May be you should ask them. andr83 is right there are a lot of useless gifts on the weddings. I have the same dilema as you now. I'm going to a wedding of friends who live abroad. They have enough money but I know that every gift have to be transported so I have a hard decision to make.

In the end i took them a wonder pot and a psychological book which helps the couples to communicate more efficient.
