I was happy to hear about his support, and as I had said yesterday I would like to see him as Secretary of Defense. You can speculate as much as you would like about an exchange for support, but I think all you are doing is throwing a red herring into the pool, the fish neither swims or floats. The idea stinks. Please show some proof that there was a deal.

I like Powell. No matter which president he helps out, it would be a good thing. I'm under the impression that if Obama gets in, he's going to need all the help he can get.
