I don't think there is such thing as "best" make up brand; but i do recommend Maybelline or Covergirl; if you are not willing to pay that much money for makeup. MAC make up is REALLY good, but its expensive. =P

Everyone has different skin tones and skin types.. so there isn't really a generally perfect brand of make up for everyone.. find what smooths over your face well.. try different kinds and see what YOU like.. that is alll that matters in the end anyway..
