rubecdrevo is right. actually a hacker sole my facebook profile once and the fb team didn't even try to help me. The same happened to a friend of mine. So I'm with a new profile now. I notice an improvement in fb policy. Someone tried to steal my profile lately but fb protection stopped him/her. Be careful when talking with users you don't know

They cant help you with recoverying passwords since hackers like to report that they lost your password and emails them a new one.
