I think Sunil Gavaskar and Allan Border. They set the momentum in test cricket and before one or two years their batting records broken. At this moment Sachin Tendulkar is really moving ahead and at no 1.

I think king of test cricket is only Brian Lara. Dominating and always hungry for the runs. Mathew Hayden broke his record and he again build another records. Simply superb, many says that Sachin is the best but in Test Cricket I think Brian Lara is the best one.

My favourite one is Sachin Tendulkar and there is no doubt about it. But I think my decision effected because I am from India also. Other wise I choose Brian Lara as one of my best test cricket player.

Sachin Tendulkar is overall a great player and no one have come close to him so far.
